Any members of the Scouting Movement between the ages of 18 and 25 are automatically members of the Scout Network, be they young leaders, listed helpers, skills instructors -- anyone with any Scouting capacity.
In Paisley, the Scout Network is directed at District level, and the activities available to them will only depend on their determination and imagination. Many of the activities they participate in can count towards their achievement of awards such as The Duke of Edinburgh's Award. The Chief Scout's Platinum and Diamond Awards, and the Queen's Scout Award, all of which are attainable from the ages of 14-25, and can be progressed through Explorer Scouts and The Scout Network Sections.
The training and development of young people will not only provide a huge skills base for Group or District based activities, but also a great opportunity to develop those who participate into Leaders for the future of Scouting in Paisley.

The Scout Promise is:
On My Honour, I promise that I will do my best

  6. A Scout makes good use of time and is careful of possessions and property.
